Andres Parga, MD

Growing up in Arizona, Dr. Andres Parga developed an early appreciation for the
intersection of medicine, culture, and community. His multicultural upbringing and
experiences in the American Southwest inspired a commitment to advancing equitable
dermatologic care through research, education, and service.

Following completion of his Transitional Year residency at HCA Florida Healthcare/USF
Morsani College of Medicine, Dr. Parga has continued to build a career focused on
academic dermatology through scientific scholarship, clinical research, and patient
advocacy. His work includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and national
presentations spanning inflammatory skin disease, skin of color, teledermatology,
occupational dermatology, and emerging therapeutic technologies. He remains actively
involved in medical education and community outreach, with a particular passion for
expanding access to dermatologic care for rural, Indigenous, and historically
underserved populations. Today, Dr. Parga serves as a Clinical Research Fellow and
Sub-Investigator at Reveal Research Institute in Frisco, Texas, where he participates in
Phase II–IV dermatology clinical trials.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Parga enjoys ceramics, photography, gardening, and scuba
diving. He was recognized as a Featured Artist in the American Academy of
Dermatology’s Art of Dermatology exhibit, where he presented his ceramic installation,
Molecular Tapestry: The Art of Collagen Formation..
