Elise Nelson

Elise Nelson is the Director of Research at Reveal Research Institute, where she leads the strategic growth and operations of the clinical research program. With 20 years of experience in clinical research, she has dedicated her career to advancing dermatology research through scientific excellence, operational leadership, and patient-centered care.

Throughout her career, Elise has contributed to more than 200 clinical trials specializing in inflammatory skin diseases, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, chronic spontaneous urticaria, and vitiligo. Her experience spans Phase II-IV clinical trials, investigator-sponsored research, disease registries, and observational studies, supporting the development of innovative therapies from clinical investigation through real-world application.

Elise is a published author in several peer-reviewed dermatology journals, including the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD), the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (JCAD), and Cutis. She has also developed and led educational programs and preceptorships for investigators, research professionals, and pharmaceutical partners, helping translate scientific innovation into high-quality clinical research and improved patient care.
